Braeburn is a late winter variety of apple native to New Zealand. Open pollination of Gala and Granny Smith varieties. Fruits are round-conical in shape, of medium size, covered with the orange-red striped blush on almost the entire surface. Apple ripening occurs in November. It is characterized by high yield, medium resistance to diseases such as scab and powdery mildew. Apples have an attractive appearance, semi-sweet taste, delicate fruity and floral fragrance.
